View Full Version : Will ABA teams ever hire people who can write?

The Buffalo Rapids have issued a press release to say that the team's new web site is up. Not only is the release very poorly written, but it doesn't include the URL. First impressions are important. The first impressions made by new/expansion franchises generally come from written statements. Many ABA teams still delegate the task of issuing press releases to people who can't write their own names! Why? Surely there is a competent high school student in the area who would be happy to do this job for a few dollars and the experience.

Probably not.

Being able to write requires the ability to think -- something that Uncle Joe tends not to do. Why hire people who are smarter than you?
