Word on the street is that the Wizards are about to lose another player to the NBA. That would make three this year (Lampley) (Miller). You could also throw in former Nugget point guard Junior Harrington who played two games with the team before signing with a team in Russia. That is quite a start to the season. My feeling is that the call up will probably be Dickens, although Ray Weathers might be a candidate. Any Wizard fans have any more info!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Lampley got cut from the Warriors on Sunday and is back on the Wizards roster. That helps but with Oliver gone, they need some help in the paint. They are loaded at the 1,2,3 positions w/ Lampley, Dickens, M.Carter, Weathers, Eddie Gill, Lenihan, and Saunders. My guess is that Dickens will probably get called up. But I could see a team taking Eddie Gill or Ray Weathers as well.

Dickens goes to Portland. Lampley was headed back, and was in the Minneapolis airport waiting to connect to Bismarck, when he got word that he is going to New Jersey.

Melvin Sanders is hurt, Chad Prewitt is hurt, Maurice Carter is sick.

Depleted and injured ..... if the Wizards can get out of the weekend with just a split, consider it a success.

Yeah, the Wiz got 13 of 14 quarter points this weekend even though they were extremely short handed. It looks like the next NBA call-up should probably be coach Joeger.
