So, where was Joe??

Did anyone read the coverage of the ABA championship game? I thought it was interesting that Joe didn't even bother to show up for the game - at least that's the conclusion I drew. Who presented the championship trophy? Not Joe, but Ricardo. If you're the person fronting the league and making all of the official statements, shouldn't you at least show up for your own championship game? But, then again, he didn't show in Vegas for the all-star (?) game, but was still willing to name the Vegas owner best in the league for putting on "the best all-star game in ABA history".

Maybe he was too busy cutting the Mongolian deal or making plans to take "fan-friendly, affordable basketball" to Siberia.
