This made the Oregonian's sports front page today. Never mind that the standings will appear 0-1 times in the data section of sports.

(That's probably also not going to happen with, say, the Timbers U-23 PDL team)

I am left to wonder why Tacoma played Central Oregon in Portland, but... well... errrr... maybe not.

IBL could be better... surprisingly still could be worse.

Pounder,
The Timbers will fail like every other soccer team has. Portland has always a haven for minor league and trash sports. Remember team tennis? The Fire Dragons, etc? Anyway, The Oregon Waves have a loaded roster if they are all healthy and come to play. Oregon, LA, Bellingham and Edmonton look to be the most impressive teams so far. Holland is off to a good start in the East.

I forgot to include Vancouver (USA) as a team off to a good start. Tyner is a very good point guard.

The current Timbers, in a lower league, have now lasted longer than the NASL version. In this time, the attendance has grown.

5,000 season tickets (either bought for this year or deposits for 2011) can't be wrong.
