SIFL in MIDLAND?

Anyone have any info. on the new SIFL team that will begin in 2010 in Midland? ...THE WEST TEXAS RUSTLERS... At the very least they'll have scrimmagable opponents in the IFL's Odessa Roughnecks and San Angelo Stampede Express.

At this moment the SIFL has not released any information of any team in Midland Texas.

League may not speak yet ,but there was a press conference on CBS news a few months ago about the team.

Which showed logo uniforms helmet and first player signed.

The team is owned by Williams Family Group of Odessa which is Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams family members, he still lives there in off season .

Team already has training complex and practice site with offices and will open to public by Winter in Odessa, and play home games in Midlands, Horse Shoe Arena.

Thats the word.........

Midland does not make geographical sense at this point.

No team rewarded to Odessa / Midland from what I hear they are a independent team.
