Get a team in Greenville, SC we supported a Hockey team for years and would be able to again with SOLID ownership.

Another issue is the venue. The Bi-Lo Center is too big in my opinion. That's probably one reason why several minor league teams besides the Grrrowl have died there. For a SPHL team, an intimate 3,000-3,500 seat arena would be perfect. I doubt anyone is going to build such a venue, so it is a mute point. But if it means no hockey in Greenville then put them in the Bi-Lo Center

I'd like for Greenville to get a team, but besides minor league baseball (G-Braves and now the Drive), I don't see people getting behind a team. The battle for Greenville's attention and wallets is dominated by the big college teams Clemson and Carolina. It's a tough sell especially now with the state of the economy.
