Maybe this season the APFL will finally get the respect it deserves as a legitimate indoor football league. With the return of the Missouri Minutemen and Iowa Blackhawks and the additions of the Overland Park Storm, Nebraska BEARS and Wichita Aviators should mark a banner season for the league.
The Aviators are expected to sign many former players of the AF2's Wichita Stealth. Former Stealth QB Jonathan Beasley has already signed...
The BEARS have signed former Omaha Beef QB Troy Travis and former Miami Dolphin Lamain Rucker...

As a season ticket holder, I am excited for this year's season. I can't wait for it to start. Personally I will be at all but 3 games. I can't wait to go on the road and see games in Nebraska and Wichita. Unfortunately, I can not work out the game in Iowa due to it being on a Friday evening. I was really looking forward to seeing a game up there.

I am a bit puzzled by the comment that the league will "finally" get the respect it deserves...

As long as there are teams in the league that has players pay to play rather than paying them to play.. It's not going to mentioned in the same breath as AF2, the NIFL, or UIF... As as I understand it.. Nor will it be featured on OSC... Which makes sense..

Five teams seem legit. Here is my look at it: Kansas Koyotes-most exciting football team in APFL, well-run team Iowa Blackhawks-seem to be well-run Missouri Minutemen-they've been around for 3 years, they can hang on for more Nebraska B.E.A.R.S. (or Bears)-have existed longer than all the other teams;were in NAFL Wichita Aviators-were originally Stealth, good threat for Koyotes, well-run Overland Park Storm-new team :? don't know how good they will be
