Reggie George is a good signing for Halifax. He can rebound, score, and defend at this level. He has the potential to be one of the best big man in the league.
It also speaks again to the talent that was on Rockford last year. Several of their players are in the league doing well (like rashi johnson).

I just wish they would have picked him up a whole lot sooner. (Although I understand he was playing in Mexico until recently)
Even if Halifax win out it's still unlikely that they can make the play offs unless at least one team absolutely collapses down the stretch.

I was actually going to ask you about this guy. It's too bad they didn't have a player like this sooner. The team needed a legit centre from the start and now their playoff fate is in the hands of others. I am excited to see what this guy can do though.
Also, that's two Fury guys that are on the Rainmen now, in Ramey and George.

I watched the game in Quebec. Reggie is a good addition to the team, giving us a tall centre, which we have been lacking all season. He had an impact in the 13 minutes that he played, with 6 points, 4 boards, an assist and a steal. It was a nice change to see a Rainmen player reach up for a rebound, without having to leave the floor. Reggie gives us height up front, a nice counter to Strick's weight. That is not a dig on Strick, the man uses his size to get to the hoop! Having the combination of those two may prove to be successful.

Wow, I was right again. Amazing. I need to be a GM one day. Buffalo, mid michigan, detroit, hey I can turn you around. Just get me a budget, oh lets say, 200,000 for player salaries and coaches and aministration. Okay lets see, GM gets 175,000 and 15,000 for the coach and 10,000 for the players. Easy isnt it?
No wonder I am not an accountant anymore!
