BLACKHAWKS RECALL PELLETIER FROM ROCKFORD

Chicago, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced on Monday that the National Hockey League club has recalled winger Pascal Pelletier from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
The recall is the second of the season for Pelletier. The Labrador City, Newfoundland native skated in one game for the Blackhawks on Dec. 10 against the Ottawa Senators. Overall, the 25-year-old winger has skated in seven career NHL games including six with the Boston Bruins.
Pelletier currently leads the IceHogs in points (41) and goals (22). The fifth-year pro also has 19 assists on the campaign and potted a team-single game record four goals on Nov. 26 against San Antonio. Pelletier was acquired by Chicago in the offseason from Boston for center Martin St. Pierre.
