Joe must have forgot to send Robbie the check. They left it in December with a message that they'd miss Christmas but be back in the new year. Its now 4 straight Thursdays that the show hasn't been heard.

With a grand total of 4-5 people listening each week what would you do?

It was great entertainment. I was rolling on the floor laughing.

Maybe Joe was sick of the OSC crowd mocking him. :D

I always thought he got most of his ideas from the folks here.

1) Announce new expansion teams
2) Announce new sales pitch that was going to save the ABA.
(I.E.: The Baby K modeling deal that went nowhere fast.)
3) Bemoan the "mean-spirited bloggers."
4) Bemoan the "other unethical leagues"
5) Make the "We will always be there for those of you who want to see
fan friendly, affordable basketball. From a league that will always be
ethical and not cross the line of being mean-spirited..." speech.
6) Make the speech of how they realize that some games weren't
being played and some teams weren't as prepared as the league thought.
"But we have a system in place so that every game, by every team
will be played next season..."

The reason why Joe probably isn't appearing brings a thought to my mind...

...even scam artists will find this economy difficult.

I don't know... I think the last four weeks have been the best-sounding ABA Radio episodes I've ever heard.

Or maybe Joe's hoping that Derrick Pearson can fire up that iMac and restart that OTHER ABA Radio good-time gospel hour. You know... the one BEFORE Robbie Kendall's good-time gospel hour?

Joe's check must have gotten lost in the mail, I'm sure it'll turn up soon and we can resume broadcasts.

You know, I'm surprised no one has used a "Sounds of Silence" reference yet?

How about the old Jefferson Starship song??? (reworked)

When the truth is found...To be lies...
and all the joy...within you(r league) dies...

Don't you want somebody to love (your league)
Don't you need somebody to l(isten to your radio show)
Wouldn't you love somebody to (pay $10,000)
You'd better find somebody to (pay $10,000)

Well another Thursday cometh and goeth.........

Last Inside the ABA was before Christmas. With Joe's email exchange with Paul Reeths he clearly is busy worrying about the economy, war, pestulance, injured NBA players, finding out how old Reeths is, the stimulus package and various Cease and Desist letters is all on his mind. So he must have forgot to send the check to Robbie to pay for this thing.

I'm sure he'll get to it immediately upon reading this.

Inside the ABA has had dozens of shows. If shows are missed, it hurts no one.

Toooooooooo Funny.

Note to self: Never read posts with a mouth full of coffee.

I do have it on very good authority that it was the ABA that suspended the show, not Robby (temporarily I was told; the show was not canceled by Joe).

Whether or not Joe gets around to starting it up again - well, I still have tickets to the postponed ABARWB concert, awaiting the makeup date Joe said was coming...

:(

I have learned to avoid all liquid while reading Chuck's and Sam's posts. Man, those two are farking hillarious.

Radio shows don't fold. Joe kicks them out.

Joe should never have challenged Chuck Norris. Clearly, the roundhouse kick he took removed his business sense from his brain.

If Joe ever put his efforts and endeavors into running a world class basketball league instead of telling people that he runs a world class basketball league, then he'd be a success.
