ROCKFORD DROPS ALL THREE GAMES DURING WEEK 15

01/19/2009

Week 15 Recap:
Two goals isn’t enough to earn two points. In all three games during Week 15 of the 2008-09 American Hockey League regular season the Rockford IceHogs tallied just twice and lost all three contests. The IceHogs won’t have a lot of time to think about it, however, as they will begin Week 16 on Monday afternoon at the MetroCentre against Grand Rapids.

Week 15 Results:
Tuesday, Jan. 12: San Antonio 4 vs. Rockford 2
Friday, Jan. 16: Chicago 3 vs. Rockford 2
Saturday, Jan. 17: Grand Rapids 3 vs. Rockford 2

Hot Hog Week 15:
With some key personnel out of the line-up, winger Pascal Pelletier has picked up the offensive slack for the IceHogs. Rockford’s winger chipped in three points in three games during Week 15 including a goal and an assist on Wednesday against San Antonio. Overall, Pelletier has points in seven of his last 10 games.
