I just got a call from a source who says Quintin was coaching the Vision tonight against Knoxville. The police came in at the end of the third quarter, he went over to the cops and then came back with four to go in the game.

Just another typical night in the ABA ...
Pretty soon this league will be on COPS - The TV Show.

He must have posted bail. I thought he was inside until this whole big misunderstanding was worked out.
I will say this though.............why would the cops come and talk to him during a game? I'm not questioning that it happened either, just what would possess the police to talk to him during a game.
While I'm sure they have their own reasons, namely justice works on its own time scale, not at the convienance of the accused, if they just wanted to talk to the guy why not swing by his house. or call him. or talk to his lawyer. or send him a letter.
If I was a small businessman in Q's shoes I would not want the police "chatting" to me in front of the fans, players, employees, other team and then walking off with them for 15 mins only to re-appear. It doesn't serve any purpose to Q.

Mr. Townsend has been out of jail since late November or early December. My understanding is that he was able to post a reduced bail amount. Judging by the Gwinnett court records, it appears he can be tough to track down. One or two process servers had a difficult time of it. I have been told he is working on behalf of the ABA again, though he has not been exonerated of the criminal charges and admitted to the civil ones.

Because Sally Anthony was busy.

I'm impressed that the police were apparently to find a schedule somewhere that listed an ABA game at a specific place and time so they went to that place at that time and actually found an ABA game being played!
