Their website says they'll be playing at KICKS on Shepherd.

I hope that's just the practice facility, cause it doesn't look it seats too many. Unless they are charging $500 a ticket, they won't make dollar 1.

Seats 2500, which is comparable to the Arena in Robstown where the Corpus Christi Hammerheads play

I think that number is based off of this seating diagram:

Based on that, the only seats this place has are those really shallow bleachers and the seats elevasted abovethe playing field in MT1 MT2

Central Pavillion Arena in Robstown holds just over 2100 and it has actual grand stand seating. Judging by the diagrams and photos that I've seen of Kicks Indoor, you will be lucky if you're able to seat 500 for indoor football.

We need to have a sitdown. The way we're acting as a sport downright sucks.

Amen, neither Indoor or Arena ball has been accepted bvy the masses.
We've seen many startup leagues go down in flames, some never got off the ground while others stumbled through with fraud and financial mismanagement.
If any of these owners or front offices want their team to be successful they can't do it alone. I've never seen a one or two team league work. Everyone should be concerned about the league itself being successful no matter which letters you use in it's name.

I do my best to say my thing, be respectful to others and mind my own business...but I am often amazed by the pettiness and juvenile "discussions" or comments made in some of these forums. It wouldn't be much of an issue if it were coming from Joe Fan, but to know that it comes from some of the "movers and shakers" is disappointing. I guess I'm old fashioned (at only 45)....I believe in respect and working hard to maintain my integrity. Money, friends, status, etc. will change during the course of our lives...in the end...integrity as all we will have (or not).

Based on this picture from the website, it does not look this facility will hold 2500 for indoor football.

When you're trying to build a fan base, especially in an urban area, the arena does matter. We've gone a few years now with franchises trying to find alternatives to the large, municipal arena (with the accompanied big rent) — from the Wichita Aviators playing at a 1,200-seat ice rink, to the Cincinnati Marshals Wall-2-Wall Sports debacle, to several teams playing at indoor rodeo arenas (or in the case of some NIFL teams, folding before they could play in an indoor rodeo arena), to the EIFL Dome.
About the only franchise to come close to making it in an alternative venue is Springfield, Mo., of the APFL (a small municipal ice rink). Conroe came close in a rodeo arena. The APFL is super-low budget league with minimal payrolls.
I'm not trying to hate on anyone here, but you can get into a situation where you can sell out every seat in the house and still lose money.

Looks more like a practice facility.
