The USbasket.com site has an article about the Los Angeles Slam, previously called Semipro, Inc., acting as an ABA fill-in team this season with about 6-10 games. The Slam plan to become a 2009-10 ABA expansion team.

So what happened to the Push?

They are apparently still around. They lost to Maywood on 12/19 and twice to Beijing on the 29th and 30th. Las Vegas also claims to have beaten the Push on the 7th, but I have no score.

I went to abalive.com and the Las Vegas vs LA Push game is not listed

{sarcasm} how strange? Joe must be tied up with something important, I'm sure the website will be updated promptly.
