-Rockford allowed goals in every period this weekend except the third frame on Friday and scored in every period except the second on Saturday
-With a win on Friday, Corey Crawford now leads the team in save percentage, goals against average and wins

Hot Hog Week 12:
Tim Brent recorded two goals and three assists in Rockford’s two games this week, taking over the second spot on the team’s season scoring list. Brent’s 14 power-play assists, including two this week, is fourth in the league, one less than three other scorers. On the other side of special teams, Brent notched a short-handed goal the next night, his second of the season. His two-goal game on Saturday is his first this season and first since Dec. 29, 2007 with Wilkes-Barrre/Scranton. It was also his second three-point game of the season and eighth multi-point game of the campaign, tying him with Petri Kontiola for the team lead.
