Are the big name players like Aaron Garcia, etc. being kept on payroll or are they just completly out of a job?

no one is getting paid. I train Eddie Moton from the Soul and is going to the CFL and Clint Dolezel from Dallas (we went to college together) he is still a scout for the Cowboys. All have the players have to find another place to play or work.

Will these guys be willing to work for the $200 or so a game in the lower levels of indoor football?

NO they wouldn't play for that.

Yeah, I dont think any big names are going to play in the "minor" leagues or for independent teams and risk injury, playing on substandard fields, in front of minimal crowds and for minimal money unless they do just it to stay in playing shape or just for fun. Although I can see some second tier players playing for their local teams, but the salary is going to be a big issue.

That means a lot of these guys are simply going to leave football. If the AFL comes back, it's going to come back without the six-figure salaries. It's going to come back looking a lot more like af2. If the AFL can't restructure, then it's not coming back at all.

Very true. I think if the AFL comes back, the salaries will go way back to the early 1990's. The $500 a week salaries.

 Actually they are seeing AFL players names poping up all over the minor leagues and you will start to see more of it. I have worked in Minor League Football for 4 years and one thing i have learned is guy would rather play then set home and work a normal job. Thats why u see big name players show up on semi-pro teams in the off seasons. The guys love to play , so keep a watch on the lower level rosters. We play for the Love of it the money is just a benefit. But thats just my opinion. Like they say opinions are like butt wholes every one has one, but most of them smell like crap lol.
