Would they make up their minds??

Would we really be able to tell the difference if they were here or gone?

Called the Salt Lake City Tribune sports department, the guy that answered the phone had never heard of them, and he asked a colleague next to him...(surprise), he never heard of them either. I asked them if they would cover an ABA team and he said "dude, that league folded in the 70's".
I guess sports writers for major newspapers still haven't heard of Joe Newman's ABA reincarnation.

As a buddy of mine down there says (referring to the Utah sporting landscape), "there is no God but Karl Malone, and John Stockton is his prophet."
That the area managed to get a 20,008-seat soccer stadium built is more miraculous than surviving the exodus from Nauvoo... but I digress.

This "team" has made no moves towards legitimacy since their announcement. No coverage because there is no money to be made here for rec ball. The Jazz and the Flash compete with BYU / U of U basketball, and U of U gymnastics.
No surprise here for the locals! Train wreck pulling out of this station empty, jack.

From what I hear, the Flash don't do so well compared to U Gymnastics.
