I can't really say at this point...though if they were smart, I'd say the Fort Wayne Komets would be looking into the possibility of landing an AHL franchise.

IHL is good right now as per Ft.Wayne President Mike Franke.
Flint is not drawing well because of the economy in Mich.
All other franchises are strong. Expansion, per Franke, will
come in 2009-10. Chicago will be back. Youngstown, Oh.
coming in also. Possibly another team from western New York.
A natural rival for Youngstown. Then there's always the possibility
of Indy, if the Gov. of Indiana keeps his nose out it.

u. The Franke's have been busy the last two or three days with ice storm issues &
two home games. (vs. Muskegon {Sat.} & K-zoo {Sun.})
