ABOUT US
Acadiana Mudbugs L.L.C. (Mudbugs) football club aims to serve our community with pride and passion as a quality example of individual and team excellence on the field and within the community by consistently exceeding our fans’ expectations by demonstrating the highest character and respect for our game, fans and teammates. The Mudbugs football team will provide a family environment where fans can enjoy a quality family friendly football game.
Our concept will include the entire Acadiana area with local high school band participation and recognition, fan participation, and local business exposure. We are also adamant supporters of our men and women in uniform. The season will consist of a ten (10) game season with five games played at home and the remaining five games played away.
The Mudbugs participate in the SIFL (Southern Indoor Football League), a division of regional arena football teams. The best aspect of the SIFl is that it allows the opportunity for fans to attend their favorite team's away games without having to plan a serious trip. The Mudbugs' furthest opponents will be no more than six hours away.
The Mudbugs will provide a total entertainment experience. Our games will undoubtedly be an experience not only seen, but felt. Since we are a fan-based team, crowd involvement before, during, and after games will be a cornerstone for all of our games. We look forward to having you cheer your Mudbugs on!
Best of luck to the 'Bugs-all I need to know now is where will they play?
EDIT: They're the Lafayette team, but will they be able to get the Cajundome? Only time will tell...
