The USBA is a mid spring and early summer professional basketball league. The season will begin on April 1, 2009. Each team will play a thirty game schedule, 15 home games and 15 away games. The USBA will showcase eligible players for the NBA, the NBADL and a host of International Leagues.

The USBA will hold team try outs for players, auditions for dance team members, auditions for mascots, interviews for game day staff. Each city will hold individual tryouts, auditions and interviews on these days.

The Supervisor of Officials will hold camps in a number of USBA cities. The designated cities and dates will be posted.

Birmingham Crusaders
Charleston Cadets
Charlotte Blue Wave
Chattanooga Royal
Columbia Centurion
Huntsville Storm
Jacksonville Admirals
Montgomery Generals
Nashville Thunder
Norfolk Blaze
Richmond Colonials
Savannah Seahawks

This story may tip you off as to the "legitimacy" of this league, which is NONE:

Note that was last month and note the arena manager didn't say ANYTHING. Especially note NO news on this or any other city that supposedly starts play in just 4 months.

I promise you this league will NEVER take off. Note the charity game on their website on Dec. 13 that was promised. Notice they NEVER listed a site and there's no results? And supposedly 12 teams play with websites registered for them? Nice of them to remind us to vote on Election Day, too. Do they mean Election Day 2010?

Didn't we go through this fraud last year? Yes, I believe we did....
