League meetings are under way ! :D

Turfcats Travel to Lake Charles for SIFL Meetings

Austin – The Austin Turfcats in conjunction with Capital City Sports and Entertainment, LLC and the Southern Indoor Football League are currently meeting in Lake Charles, Louisiana for a formal league meeting, Turfcats VP/General Manager Ronald Oswalt said.

For now, Oswalt said the league could have 6-10 teams in 2009. Part of the meetings will be spent discussing expansion possibilities, among other things.

"We're also going to be collecting our arena dates, setting some deadlines for some things to take us through the next few months and into the next owners' meetings.” said Oswalt.

The meetings have been constructive and successful and the Turfcats have already started to set a professional tone during the meetings along with SIFL President Thom Hagar.
