6 ABA owners want to do their own thing and break away, They had a phone discussion yesterday, they said..."enough of joes lies"..as we all know...NOTHING ever happens that Joe promises....
Stay tuned....looks like some owners do have brains after all
Maybe Q will fix all the problems.................NOT

There is a fact of life,when it is suspected or known, that cheating , lying , stealing, deceiving, etc etc are in play and you bring it to the fore front, it should serve for the betterment of the community at large.
It is negative when someone or some entity tries to produce good and you look for only the faults and not the greater picture.
There is a difference, but Im sure youll disagree....LOL

Percentage of games played - +90%*
Teams that did not complete their season - 0
* One game was forfeit but a game was played with the Travelers at the arena that night.

Unless it was a really small regional one, yeah. An industrial, guys play on the side, travel by 15-passenger van league. And even then....

6 ABA owners ... Why not 9 or 10 ABA owners? That way, it could be an entire ABA Division :infun:
But I guess, it would create more chaos if various teams from within the separate divisions bolted ...

Well the Northeast did it last year. Manchester, Vermont, Quebec, Montreal, Halifax and (to a lesser extent) Boston all had a conference call where they said "Forget Joe and his nutty league, we cover each others games".
They worked together and finished the schedule.
Now that was WITHIN the ABA structure and then they jumped ship. Halifax jumped ship a bit earlier, but there was a stop-loss order for lack of a better term.
Could be the same type of arangement.

The longer I stayed away, the more things never change in the ABA. Guess I didn't miss a beat. Last I checked, there was this conference call stuff and the 'break away' theory. Sounds good, but no one had the balls to do anything drastic then and apparently the vicious cycle still goes 'round and 'round.
