Hidden amoungst other tryouts where its 100 bucks in advance and 150 at the door the Bahama Pro Show has done something I have never seen in the last 3 years of the ABA, paid for travel to tryout. Now you have to be invited, its not gimme but this at least sounds as if they are running a real team here.

Nassau, Bahamas. The ABA Bahama All Pro Show will hold the first in a series of Workout/Tryout Sessions as we seek to finalize our roster for our second season in the American Basketball Association (ABA) 2008-2009. These sessions are by invitation only and no walk-ups are allowed. All travel to the Bahamas and living accommodations while in the Bahamas will be covered by the team. The world famous Superclubs Breezes All Inclusive Resorts will serve as the host hotel for this session. Persons can email player resumes if they wish to be considered for the next session in November.
Sessions will be held Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 9am and 5pm and Sunday at 10am at the Doctors Hospital Fitness Center, Blake Road, Nassau, Bahamas. Local media houses will be in attendance on the Friday session only. Players are expected from Detroit, Dallas, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles and from all Bahama Islands.
