As with that arena changes will be made.First the score clock will be taken out.And there will be sky boxes up top.

I have to admit, the facility doesn't sound so great, but if they at least have an NHL size rink (so we don't get an Evansville situation) it will work for the NIFL. Please... no 43 yard feilds in the league anymore.
I do agree, it doesn't look good if the AFL New Jersey Gladiators couldn't make it, but on the other hand, the NIFL has much lower operating budgets. If the Extreme can get at least 3000 per game, I think they could survive.

The NJ Gladiators analogy isn't valid. Having been to a few Gladiators games back in the day, I can tell you the Continental is a chore to get to. No public transportation, you have to drive, busy roads, and it just sucks. At least Staten Island has a public transportation infrastructure, plus a much larger fan base in the immediate vicinity, instead of being in the middle of a swamp. Never been to the Pavilion myself, but I haven't heard good things about it. It's very old, can't imagine anyone puttting much money into it. Still, I think they have a shot of making it, a better one than the Atlantic City team does anyway. If I was a betting man, I would say the A.C. team is one season and done. People don't go there to see sports, especially in the summer.
I would have to agree with you about Atlantic City, but they did sign a 3 year lease so we shall see.
Here's the attendance for the Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL
2,838 in 11 games, 22nd among the ECHL's 31 teams.
Not that good either, but how many do you have to draw to break even in the NIFL.
If I can I plan on taking a train ride from PA to see a game this spring.

They will be able to avg 3000 witch would be a sell out.As it stands now it only holds 2500 but they are adding sky boxes and standing room only it will hold 3000.

I hope it catches on.
There was a soccer team that didn't draw well. Ever hear of the Staten Island vipers? Thought so..
I hope to be working at the games so maybe I'll see you..
