DETROIT HOOPS ANNOUNCE TWO DAY TRYOUT CAMP
04-Aug-2008
Detroit, MI -- The Detroit Hoops are having a tryout camp this weekend, Saturday August 9th from 9am-3pm and Sunday, August 10th from 9am-1pm at the Cornerstone School located at 13436 Grove Street, between 6 Mile Road and Shaffer in Detroit, Michigan.
This is a great opportunity for prospective players to make the team for the upcoming season.
The Detroit Hoops are looking for highly motivated team players with a positive attitude on and off the court (who would say otherwise of themselves, and how would the team know either way?). Community relations are also a requirement of this organization for all players and staff (as is begging for fans and finding a job to actually pay the bills) . You must be championship driven and ready to compete at a high level of competition (this IS the ABA, isn't it?) .
All candidate need to bring a $100 registration fee along with full will basketball gear and a clear understanding of this great opportunity to play in one of the fastest growing professional sports leagues in the world. ( )
The Tryout will include conditioning drills, shooting drills, scrimmaging, free throws and defensive ability. All candidates need to be prepared to bring or leave for lunch. (as opposed to, what, killing and eating something on the spot?)
For more information, call Gerald Watson II at 303 422 5735 or email gwatson@rhythmnsoul.com or Charles Turner at 313 910 3673.
