Skyhawks thinking about Viera?

Us skyhawk fans have to stop worrying about the lineup and start worrying about the pitching. I think they should try to grab Rolando Viera. I know the Rox and Skyhawks are battling right now, but Viera has been struggling and Sussex would be a perfect fit for him because he needs run support. The Rox haven't been great on offense this year. But the Skyhawks have been scoring extremely well. So I think this deal is more likely than you would normaly think. Maybe it would look something like this,

Matt Salvato - Rolando Viera
Khalid Affify Lee Rubin
Rich Lawyer
Roger Lincoln
Cliff Panezich

Guess you didn't know, Viera was released by the Roxs 8/4. Its on their website but hasn't been annouced on the Can-am site.

skyhawks just got heavy hitting mario delgado from lincoln, if they get viera they will be in the playoffs for sure. delgado had 11 HR's before being traded to sussex.

With Delgado coming in for probably this weekends series with the Jackels, who will be the odd man out? The roster is full at 22 so someone has to be released or go on the DL. Have any thougths?

With Delgado, I think he will play short if he's gonna start. But either way I think Rios will be gone. Hes been struggling and has alot of great defensive plays at SS, but he leads the team in errors.

Which Skyhawks will be back next year.

Yohanny Valera- I think Yohanny has done very well defensivley, just has to work on offense over the offseason.

Ryan Crespi- Great young talent
Alex Frazier- Has had a solid year, he will be back
Jorge Moreno- great veteran payer, has had another solid year.
Ron Perodin- has had a much bettwer year than last year.

Just read the article on Delgado and had a few thoughts about who is out. If Delgado is a first baseman then maybe they move Weston to right field, Crespi to center and leave Moreno as DH which would put Perodin out. Perodin great player but Hal may be still upset with him not running to first. If Rios is out then Pappas would have to play SS which he has played very well but is ify at the plate batting 200. DH would be Delgado with Moreno back in rightfield but then who comes out of the outfield to sit the bench - Crespi, Perodin or Fraser?

Definetly Perodin, I'm sry but he has to go, Crespi has had a much better year and is younger. And it's obviously not gonna be frazier. I think the lineup should look like this now.
