Well, what's going on??? League seems awfully quiet. I think there were two training camp rosters released this week, which would make the first releases in probably two or three weeks?

I just can't see this league being succesful between it's unprofessional web site, promotion, and team logos. How can you expect to have fans and make money when schedules haven't even been released yet and little information is known about any team except the Predators???

And I think them using three 15-minute periods with only one intermission resurface is kinda cheezy and cheap.

Here's my prediction based on the track record of it's benefactor, the XHI:

1) Season will be pushed back about a month.

2) A month later the league will complain about lease agreements and threaten lawsuits.

3) League will announce a tournament format in leu of a season in 2004.

4) Nothing happens and league disappears.

It's pretty much a given right now that this league is in no position to play even an exhibition game let alone a season. Even lower end leagues like the NEHL and SEHL have progressed even further then this. They have reasonably professional websites, existing teams and actually play games. They also have schedules so fans can follow their teams and heaven forbid, buy tickets. Until the iihl can prove they are capable of that they won't be taken seriously by anyone.
