I think I've seen this on the forums before, but can anyone tell me what a typical salary is for a minor league front office member?

Thanks.

It all depends. Are you inquiring about league or franchise office positions?

Well, I was thinking mainly just individual team front offices.

Let's put it this way, most of us that have worked in Minor League Baseball simply do it for the love of the game. You definitely are not going to get rich working in Minor League Baseball.

If you are a salesman you can do well if you are in a market that will support a team. If you want to be involved in the operations side of the game you will be doing it because you love baseball and not for the money!

For me I have worked in baseball for 11 years and love every minute of it. Even though the money is still not that great after 11 years it still beats working for a living!

GM's of certain teams do OK - even in not so great markets, they makae 50K and upwards of 100K in good markets. The entry level positions are tough to make it. I agree with Baseball Kid in that we don't do this for the money. I wish owners had that same philosophy. If you are looking to make a quick buck by owning a team/league, there are other invetsments that are better than minor league baseball. The problem is if a couple teams so, every team wants to and then.............I can't say I enjoy that side of the game -
