Jamie-

I'll be interested to hear your take on the two teams near you. I know you're a warbirds fan, but I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Marshals. They were an unmitigated disaster last year in Waco, but hopefully the new ownership is decent.

Of course they are in different, rival, leagues so they won't play each other. But I look forward to comparisons of the quality of play.

Considering Shiver's past history at finding "new" owners, it certainly could be another disaster in Cincy. I think Montgomery is a reincarnation of the Austin, Texas NIFL franchise...so there could be disasters all around.

I think the ownership of the two WAS teams and down in Florida are looking good. Same with the IFL teams. Hard to say, though, after the cascading problems of last season.

I would say that I'm a lot more worried about Cincinnati, Montgomery, Fayetteville and New Jersey than any of those WAS/FLA/IFL teams.

I honestly don't know anything about the Cincinnati team or its ownership, than what I have read in the news.

I hope that I will have an opportunity to attend at least one of their games, but since I plan to attend all Warbirds home games, and many away games... well, I'm not sure I'll have time.

My biggest concern for the Marshalls is that they will fall to the same fate of the Swarm. Near total lack of interest by the local fans and media.

My hope is that they will be VERY successful, and that Dayton and Cincinnati will play each other someday.

Ownership is a mess. HP still owes people money, sounds like Waco all over again. What is going on down there? I hear they are still playing on A2 field. I guess some things never change. And Hp has little man syndrom. LMAO

What's wrong with playing on the Swarm's old AF2 field? As long as they took the nets down... :)

Quality-wise, it's a damn sight better than anything half the NIFL teams have, I'm sure...just the way the AFL/2 is
