MISL terminates San Diego & Monterrey

MISL voted yesterday to terminate San Diego Sockers & Monterrey. The will be replaced next season by the returning Dallas Sidekicks and a new team in Stockton, CA. A dispersal draft will be held.

I understand that San Diego is on "hiatus."

I can count on one hand, perhaps on one finger, the number of teams in ANY league that ever recovered from hiatus. Don't hold your breath about Dallas.

With San Diego in that hole, do you really think Stockton is going to hold on?

I hope someday the San Diego Sockers and Dallas Sidekicks come back because they both have great fans and players from the years. I don't think the Monterrey Fury has a chance for a comeback, I think they're done.
