It's going to be tough to make in NYC in a facility that only holds 2,500 people in a town where everything costs more.

It should be interesting. There are two ways I look at this. Gas prices are high. Food is expensive in the area. But, Who knows. Maybe the team will draw allot of hockey enthusiasts in the area.
On the other hand, When I heard about a team being placed in the Brooklyn area,I figured that there would be allot of Long Island and Upstate Ny players on the team. If this happens I can see allot of them bringing tons of family and freinds to the games. I guess time will only tell.

(Brooklyn, NY) – The Brooklyn Aces of the Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL) today unveiled the jerseys that the team will wear for their inaugural 2008-09 season.
Featuring the team’s colors of Red, White, and Blue, the team unveiled three jerseys: a white for home, a Blue for road, and a Red alternate jersey to be worn on special occasions.
The team’s home jersey features the Brooklyn Aces’ primary logo of a “Winged Star” with crossed sticks in between the team name Brooklyn Aces. The white home jersey follows a more traditional sweater look with red and blue stripes on the sleeves and waist and the shoulders feature the wings of a plane to connect with the historic purpose of the once grand hanger for some of America’s first planes. The numbers on the back will be red on top of dark blue and the player’s name will be in blue.
The team’s road jersey features the team’s primary logo on a dark blue sweater with white and red stripes on the arms and waist and the unique plane wings across the shoulder. The numbers on the back will be white on top of red and the player’s name will be in white.
The team’s alternate jersey was based on the idea of trying to connect with the Aviator Sports & Recreation Complex where the team will play its home games. The alternate jersey will be red with white and blue stripes on the sleeves and waist of the jersey and a blue oval around the neck extending over the shoulder with the Aces Winged Star sitting on each shoulder. The Brooklyn Aces alternate logo is a “Pilot” over a striped Red, White and Blue Shield, crossed sticks and Winged Star sitting in between the team’s Brooklyn Aces name. These jerseys will be worn on special dates during the season.
In addition to these jerseys, players will wear dark blue helmets, dark blue pants, and blue, white and red socks.
