I was looking at the predictions thread for fun. As I suspected, it is not a good idea in this league to make predictions one month before the start of the season.
Skyhawks96 projected Ottawa's lineup on April 19 to be:
1. Jose DeLos Santos- SS
2. Napoleon Calzado- CF
3. Abner Arroyo- 3B
4. Jabe Bergeron- 1B
5. Jeremy Ware- RF
6. Jared Lemiux- LF
7. Max Bouchard- C
8. Scotty McKnight- 2B
9. Nick Trainor- DH- For now, Im sure they will sign someone like Quintana to DH.
Here's what's happened in the 50 or so days since:
De los Santos is the regular second baseman.
Napolean Calzado's situation is unclear. He went to Taiwan and last week, it was reported he would play in Ottawa. Sources tell me that now won't happen. Jared Lemieux plays in center.
Abner Arroyo: don't know what happened. I don't even remember him being on the roster. He was long gone by the start of Spring training. Juan Infante is our regular third sacker.
Jabe Bergeron is the Rapidz best hitter. Oh, yes, Miles Wolff found owners just before the season which changed the name from Rapids to Rapidz and changed the logo.
Jeremy Ware is hurt and has yet to play. I heard he could be back soon but I can't confirm. Jeremy Milons was not yet signed on April 19 and he is the regular left fielder.
Lemieux hit lead off playing in center and once dropping below .200, now hits in the ninth spot. He did hit the first grand slam in team history on Sunday. He had one RBI to that point.
Max Bouchard is now the regular DH and has caught about two games the first week. Kyle Geiger is the regular catcher, signed on April 30. Bouchard's future is uncertain as today Jose Salas was signed. Salas can catch, play first and DH.
Scotty McKnight was put at short where he had troubles. I don't think he's got a shortstop arm. I don't recall him playing second base yet. Felix Escalona now shares short and third with Juan Infante this past week.
Nick Trainor played only two games for Ottawa and was released on June 7.
Quintana was not signed. Salas looks like he will DH and catch once or twice a week.
As for standing predictions (only a few of us made them), it's still early but:

Sussex Skyhawks - Here's the CanAm's version of the Detroit Tigers on paper
If you are a Skyhawks fan, you are probably happy that is not indeed the case. Although both are starting to come around.
I was the only one putting Quebec higher than sixth place. The Caps are currently in first.
Worcester now in second were not given much chance by any of us.
I wish predictions about Ottawa were more accurate.
CanAm1 and I did not think the Jackals would do much. Interesting fact about New Jersey. They are 8-10. They are 6-2 against Ottawa which means 2-8 against the rest of the league.
Walter Young: now hitting .298 (most of us pegged him being right where he is), 2 HRs, 13 RBIs. He's got a ways to go for 36 and 118. Don't mean to pick on you Skyhawks96. Of course, he could go on a tear anytime. When he does, Sussex will be feared.
