The season started off on the rough side but the skyhawks and Lanier seem to be on the right track now. Big Walt who states he is a slow starter has come on strong the last few games. Pitching has been much better with Galvez, Ruwe and now Snipp starting. The jury is still out with Rogars and Roberts. Petrusek, Salvato and Lawyer have done well out of the pen. Maybe one of them should be moved to a startiing role.
Anyone go to the home brockton series? Hopefully the skyhawks have the Jackels number too and can sweep this weekends series. That would be sweet!!!

Streaking the Skyhawks are!!! With the win last night they move into a 3-way tie for fourth place with New Jersey and Brockton. Is Benitez hurt or has he been moved to the pen? What happened to Thomas? And, Fraser? Wasn't at the game last night and couldn't get the Sessex webcast on ESPN so had to listen to the game on the Jackels webcast.

eddy benitez has moved to the the pen, but hasnt ptiched out of it yet, due to soreness in his shoulder, nothing to be worried about frazier, i think he just had the night off, they gave vardaro the start.

Go Skyhawks!!!! Listened to the game last night on the Atlantic City webcast and was impressed with the announcers thoughts on this years Skyhawks. As stated this years team will contend. There is power in the lineup and pitching has been better than last year. The bullpen needs a little bolstering however. Lanier has three arms that he can count on in the pen with Petro, Salvato and Lawyer. They will burn out if they don't get some help.

as bad as the Jackals are playing, the skyhawks and jackals will have an interesting series today.
Game 1
(NJ) Mike Vicaro: 2-1 ... 2.50 ERA, 18 IP, 11 K
(SUS) Michael Rogers 0-1 ... 7.85 ERA, 18 IP, 16 K
At least we can see some strikeouts
