The Snakes just finished there first game against a true GBL opponent and came out with the 10-7 win against the road runners.

the game wasn't as close as the score might suggest as the 'runners scored 4 runs in the ninth off Jon Huzinga. Evan Greusel pitched six strong giving up only 1 earned run, Brinkley had a big night going 4-4 and I was impressed again by Colin Moro getting on base and scoring.

For anyone who didn't catch the internet broadcast from St. George, John Potter does a fine job calling the games, he was very easy to listen to, informative and fun.

Here's hoping our success south of the border continues.

Wow 7 in a row, it's looking like we really are the powerhouse that everyone predicted before the season. I didn't listen to the game but I've been waiting for them to post the box score. I did read that Morban went 4-4 as well - he's been on fire to start the year.

It's a tad concerning that Huzinger gave up 4 in the ninth. I thought he looked real good in Sunday's game, although I was a bit confused about why they needed to bring in their closer in a 12-1 game.
