The Michigan Ice womans softball

I was wondering where a good place is to look for either The Michigan Ice or Mid Michigan Ice (not sure which is the correct name) womans professional fastpitch softball team would be. Also looking for updates on the team moving from independent to professional status.

The Midland-based Michigan Ice web site used to reside at www.iceprofastpitch.com, but it is not longer available. The team kept talking about becoming a full-fledged franchise in the WPF and played some exhibition games against WPF teams in 2006 and 2007. I know at one time the team was hurting financially and was sold to new owners. The Ice did not appear on any of the WPF's schedules tis season, but I am unsure of their status.
