Just a heads-up to everyone here, Otis Birdsong has resigned as president and general manager of the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry. He is the latest in a string of resignations that include assistant coach Greg Minor. Only two people from the front office are still working for the Cavs, and Michael Ray is still the head coach.

I don't get the LC., but I'm interested to know why he resigned and who his replacement will be.

..my guess (and it is only a guess) is that the local owners are going to run a lot more of the team activities, and might not need Otis.

Remember that he was brought in to run a team for an out-of-town owner.
