I don't have the money, although I wish I did, so I could more easily pay bills (:-P)...but regardless, what does it cost to start and maintain a legitimate ABA team for its first season?

A legitimate ABA team....hmmm.

To cover all expenses in the event of 75 people in the stands?

My guesstimation would be $750,000, for a semi-well run team that doesn't play in a high school gym.

According to my sources, a ABA team expansion fee is 10k. To run a successful team and I'm going to use the Arkansas RimRockers which play in Alltel Arena (seating capacity 18,000) average attendance is around 3,800 operating budget is around 600k.

I think the more appropriate reply, regarding this league, is "they don't deserve your money, they will do wrong by your money, they are stealing your money, and they will kill your city's next reasonable basketball effort by being a part of it."

Memorize, repeat 10 times per day, believe it.

Like I said, I don't have the funds to start a team...but thanks for the info.
