Kirk Slaughter, director of public events for the City of Fort Worth, confirmed talks with former Indiana Pacers General Manager David Kahn about bringing a National Basketball Developmental League team to the Fort Worth Convention Center for the 2005-06 season.
Okay, then. Though it's kind of out of the way from the rest of the NBDL teams.
Kahn indicated that an NBDL team in Fort Worth could bring as many as 4,500 fans to each of its home games, Slaughter said.
And I'm indicating that David Kahn is off his rocker because there hasn't been an NBDL team that has drawn 4,500 to each of its home games ever. It's not happening.
