With Wheeling coming on board where else is the CIFL looking to set up shop? Here are a few thoughts.....well places. Look at the travel cost and potential fan base it makes sence.
FYI: I have been in the business for about 5 years now so I'm not just a fan out there makin **** up. Maybe all this has already been talked about if so no big deal if it hasn't I hope I can spark some conversation.
Danbury CT (Danbury Ice Arena) 2500-3000
-Local rival for New England
-has had good minor league sports there (despite over paying them)
-see Danbury Trashers
West Orange NJ (Richard J. Codey Arena) 2500-3000
-Local rival for LHV and the Revs
-great building and fan base
Rome NY (JFK Civic Arena) 3000
-Untested market but worth a shot as a bridge city
Jamestown NY (Jamestown Savings Bank Arena) 3000
-Nice market (Casino down the road)
-Full modern areana with all the bells and whistels
Johnstown PA (Cambria County War Memorial Arena) 4000
-May be a tough sell but with LOCAL ownership could work
-Low travel costs for team is placed in right division
-AIFA future in doubt
-Great history of indoor football...at least on the field
