Some one please, anybody !!!!!!!!!!!!Tell me how a guy that has run so many franchisies in the ground can now be an owner? Both him and Dittman could not sell any tickets what so ever when they were in hockey. Two small time guys wanting to run with the big boys!

It is a sign of weakness in the league when those 2 guys can be in power.

Now That Central Texas has James Brown a a decent owner I can't wait till Corpus gets a Bell county ass whipping from Central Texas. TIM COOK OWNS CORPUS

Um...where were you the last four years when both Odessa and Corpus Christi have had quite a bit of success?

Indoor football teams don't play into their fifth season with the same owner without things being done right, with few exceptions. If they do (Beaumont, for example), they usually do it by bleeding money and drawing fleas. Both Odessa and Corpus Christi get very good crowds, the latter outdrawing the AF2 team (when only counting paid tickets) in the same city despite being in an arena one-fourth the size.

Good question, exit. Maybe, just maybe, hockey is a tougher sell than football in Texas. Maybe, just maybe, they've learned over the years. Whatever the case, these guys have earned the benefit of the doubt over the last couple of years. You sound like someone with an agenda, TheWarrior. Next time, you may want to begin by citing specifics. Also, I've notice the amount of sense a post makes is inversely proportional to the number of exclamation points used. Your post fits that pattern.

The Warrior is an Icon in the field on Minor League Sports as well as a national radio host.
Tommy was a failure in El Paso, A failure in Tucson, The ACHL and many other spots around all of minor league hockey. Dittman is a snake Oil salesmen that left the franchise in Central Texas on life support. Thank God For DR Barnett and the hard working staff in place.
Examples of where Tommy was awful?
Show me where he was good
(when only counting paid tickets) in the same city despite being in an arena one-fourth the size.
Ok so now you know who is wall papering the arena's? Thats a Tommy trick in El Paso. Hide financial woes with fake sales

Mr. Icon, their hockey history is just that - history. Their football teams haven't missed a game in how many years? Looks as if they're doing something right now.

We do, but we go beyond selective facts. They've run fairly decent operations the last several years in a sport not particularly known for them. That trumps their hockey history.

What about those who may learn from the past? Isn't it possible they couldn't sell hockey in Texas but they can sell football?

Still hasn't answered my question.

Those that fail to understand the past?

The past here in indoor football is five years of nearly unprecedented success in this sport not known for it.

And that's what the AF2 team in Corpus Christi is doing, while Dittman's team is more profitable now in a 2,110-seat arena than he ever was otherwise.

"Icons" in minor league sports are players that move on to MAJOR league sports.

Where Tommy's been good? Consistently averaging over 3,000 paid fans a game in Odessa over four-plus years. Better than 95% of teams in the sport.

Aaahhhhh, The Warrior ....

You wore out your stay at inthecrease.net and The CHL Underground ....

Then after making a laughing stock of yourself over at brahmas.net, they finally gave you the boot ...

Now you've resurfaced here at OSC ...

Better say what you want to say quick. It's just a matter of time before you get banned from this place as well.

I was wondering when you were going to crawl out from under that rock and show your ugly face again.

Such as attempting to sell hockey in the American Southwest? While the CHL has had relative success, I sense that it is quite difficult to consistently keep teams thriving down there.

Really...Dittman's done as well as anyone could really do in indoor football the last couple of years.

Trolls have a tendency to do that. Everyone loves a trainwreck.
