Looks like the Outlawz lost their 2nd head Coach this season

My sources say, most of his staff is going with him.

They say the Owner is playing the Dr. Jekyl Mr. Hyde with the team & Coaches.

Last night a source close to the team reported that the Owner walked in, threw the teams checks at the feet of the Head Coach and ran out the door.

Perhaps you and Exit are using the same sources. :)

DePaul's never been very tolerant of coaches, so I'm not surprised for a second that he's made changes again in that department.

I've heard nothing out of Lehigh Valley, but I don't pay much attention over there since finances haven't ever been a problem with the Outlawz (nor do I ever expect them to be).

It's not like the new coaching staff has done any better than DePaul did as coach anyways, so I guess that's what he's thinking.

Jim is a good guy . The team is probably just a little frustrating for him. When you pay the bills,at times, you get pissed. He will be fine;so will the outlawz.

Certainly an interesting game in Lehigh. The CIFL better be checking the game tape and then very prudent in handing out any penalties that may be assessed to the players and teams.

The question is why is the game film being kept secret if there is nothing to blame the Outlawz for? I would love to see this game film but for some reason a team that sells every game is not allowing anyone to see this one? A little suspicious.

You should be able to contact the television station specifically to get copies of this game tape. If not, then we know the Outlawz were a huge part of this fracas.

Because it's a conspiracy. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

What's wrong, run out of drama on the CIFL board you have to come here and start some?

Not at all, just a simple question, every other game film from LV is for sale on the website, but this on is being kept private? Hmmm..

The only "not-conspiracy" theory I can offer is that there's a delay. The station shows reruns of the game throughout the week, so they may delay selling for a week.

I tried to get the CIFL (back in '06) to pass a rule barring owners from coaching - that'd at least help mitigate this problem.

Owners coaching teams? .....Yeah, that's a stupid idea.

The CIFL has it multiple places:

Lehigh (on and off)
New Jersey
New England

Those are the ones I can think of offhand.

I think one or two New Jersey Revolution players are part owners of the team, or at least they were in 2007.

Jim Depaul is frustrated with the operations end of the cifl. They continue to ignore the people ,like Jim, that have not only paid the bills but also have loan the league money. He is done with this stuff; hopefully, he will finish the year. If he doesnt, its because of broken promises from the league.THE LEAGUE WILL LOOSE A VERY GOOD OWNER BECAUSE OF THEIR BROKEN WORD. NOT SMART.

Any owner who feels they're above the league wouldn't be bad for the league to lose.

Blanketman quote:

The most important aspect of any league, especially the cifl, is to do what they were suppose to do during the official board meetings . Granted, everyone makes mistakes, like me, however, we came up with some quality moves in our meetings that were not carried out.I e. security deposits. Hopefully,in the future with their owners they can make it work.No team in any indoor league makes the money spokane made last year. Iowa has about 6500 season ticket holders.Granted af2,like all minor leagues, has its share of turnover......Lets also not forget that all these indoor leagues have another 10 weeks or so through the playoffs. A tremendous amount of financial strain can happen to a team in this time frame. Teams have a tendency to crumble through these weeks. Bills pile up , vendors havent been paid, players checks may be late. All this happens through the second half of the year, when players and fans know they are not in contention. When the cifl completes this year with no mishaps, it should be the best league in indoor. Their geographic footprint is to good, especially, in the midwest.

Ok, go on and tell me more about this league not having any money, borrowing from a mid level franchise and why it may fold before the end of the year!

I'm listening (reading)

I am pretty sure the league hasn't borrowed from anyone. Individual people? Perhaps. But the league itself? I'm pretty sure that isn't the case.

It's one and the same Josh, and that's always been a part of the problem.

Actually, that seems to be one of the areas in which the CIFL improved this year.
