Okay, here you go. This is not open to debate, nor am I about to reveal the sources................. actually i do this with very mixed-emotions but mostly because my buddy who's an OSC junkie doesn't have the balls to do so (so i guess i kind of revealed my source already)...... infrequent board poster ''one way'' is none other than former Rockford coach and current Minot coach Mr. Chris Daleo.
he'll probably jump right back on here and deny the hell out of it, but guys, its true. our good friend and very knowledgable associate is a freakin' HEAD COACH in the CBA!!!! my buddy and 'rockets guru has been telling me so for months and he finally took the time to ''prove'' it to me the night of that game 5 Lawton win (over a few sorrowful beers of course). for the record, i'm a fan of Daleos and i would estimate that 95% or more of his last thread will pan out to be true (his sources are the league heads afterall) but, wow, i can't believe he finds the time or desire to read/post here on OSC. i guess maybe we should all be flattered a bit. i'm actually quite relieved to hear from one way again (its been awhile) with what is really good news i'd say -- the league will be back!!! that's awesome! most Minot fans don't have a clue about the infirmness of the league and the possibility of mergers, etc....... they should be pumped to learn what they all already stupidly assume, the team and the league will be back!! (the local owners have done a marvelous job of telling everyone in town how great and stable the league is..... what a farce).
(now i only hope the rumors of the Minot mgmnt staff leaving are true)------------- and so, thanks Coach Daleo for rewarding the OSC diehards with this inside info. it'll make the summer a little more pleasureable. and thanks much to my brilliant but gutless buddy (he's gonna kill me) for sniffing out Mr. one way (Daleo) and turning me into a hoops fan again these last two years. word to my boys - sorry, had to do it!! but i love 'ya. i'm buyin' lunch this week.
