As of today, the Goldeyes have reached their "veterans" limit. The NL only allows teams to have 4 vets on the roster and with Kevin West, Fehlandt Lentini. Max Poulin, and Tydus Meadows.
Fehlandt Lentini was just released by his Mexican League team and eager to come back to the 'Peg. However, to make room on the roster for Lentini, since the Goldeyes already had their limit of "veteran" players, 1B Walter Young was traded to Sussex of the Can-Am League for a player to be named later. No coincident that Sussex is managed by former Goldeyes manager Hal Lanier so I guess they already had a connection ready to deal Young to.
