As a Frost Heaves Fan, I have had of exposure to the Manchester Millrats and I have to say that they are the worst role model as a team. The team, with the exception of Anthony Anderson and a couple of others are troublemakers and dirty players. The management is self serving. Larry Lessard, the coach, is the worst role model and the foundation of most of the issues. If it wasn't bad enough that they started fights with the Forst Heaves, they also caused physical altercartions at the playoffs against San Diego. A Rats Forward and the Rat Coach also pushed two of the refs between standard play and OT. The player (Cedric) was ejected.
In the end justice was served. The San Diego Wildcats won. Then the Heaves beat the Cats
" The Heaves bumped the Cats that ate the Rats!!!" :p

It certainly was a bad performance by the Millrats. No question. They had a similar problem earlier in the year when there was a big fight.
I doubt the D-League will let them parade around like that. Or the P-League, or the C-League..........

This Millrat fetish is getting out of hand. Let it go. It's not your team.

No, here I disagree with Alumni.
Listen to Johnny Most broadcasts during the nascent days of the NBA.
Rivalries, and all the resultant hijinks, are the stuff of life for a team, and even a league.
All the more reason that Vermont should follow Manchester out of the ABA when the time comes.
