If the game is in New Jersey I don't think so.

More info on the Montreal/Jersey game, taken straight from the Montreal Royal facebook group
"March26/08
In a messy, closer-than-expected game, Royal top Jersey Express 118-110. Montreal will be heading to Quebec City Friday, March 28, to face the Manchester Millrats at 5pm in the ABA quarterfinals.
Jersey brought only 7 players, with another 2 showing up at halftime and suiting up in time to warm up for the 3rd. Missing from the Royal was Claude Delmas, and Mohamed Fall was present but did not play. (To be eligible to play in a playoff game in the ABA, a player must have played at least 3 regular-season games with a team. Fall had not, and so is ineligible to play but came out to support his teammates)
The Royal led by as many as 12 points, but there were 10 lead changes and 12 ties in the game, and the Express went into halftime with a one-point lead.
Tommy Mitchell led both teams in scoring with 36pts, and both David Dubois and Marco Volcy posted double-digits in rebounds (10 and 11, respectively). The Royal had 5 players score in double-digits.
next game: March28 vs Manchester Millrats, 5pm in Quebec City"

My Good God
........this thread sums up this ridiculous, wacky, insane little league
1/ an owner, AN OWNER of a team comes on here asking if a game was played
2/ then one team thinks the game in one city and the other team thinks its somewhere else
3/ nothing on abalive except links to stores selling tampons and NASCAR jackets and some half-baked 'how-to-be-a-salesman' course
4/ someone finds a score on facebook......................FACEBOOK for Gods sakes
The fact that at ABA owner, and good guy, has to come to this message board that is simply overrun with anti-Joe sentiment to find a F****** score of a game...................
it just boggles the mind how poorly run this fiasco is..........its simply astounding on every imaginable level.

Paul! You are absolutely correct. I'm back on here tonight since the PlayOn system is not working.
Its unfortunate that most of the league news has to come from OSC. That's not a knock on OSC...its meant to be a complement for them and yet another item on the "things to do better next year" list.
One thing that I like about the D-League website, is that they have a "daily report" that shows current standings, whose playing who that day, who played whom last night, and other up to date facts. Its not pretty, but its informative.

That's about the only way to reach the 13 to 24 crowd. (I've heard it joked that its the only way some parents can reach their kids.

Stats, league leaders, basketball informati.....
Wait, how do they have the space or bandwith to hawk socks, bras, and get-rich-quick seminars with that other stuff cluttering up the site??

Unfortunately, Carter, this has been a problem for quite some time. I would love to see the ABA succeed, but the higher level management seems to not care what happens to the teams that play in the league, or the league itself.
When a league website does not inform the people that visit what is going on, but instead turns into an infomercial, then you get what you are seeing here. The owners deserve better, the fans deserve better, and people who care about minor league basketball deserve better.
