He can't even get that right.

Try:

For a little price comparison.

Unreal.

Its bad enough that he sends these ridiculous "press releases" out but all he is doing in my opinion is simply wiping the ground with the ABA name.

Once a proud name, now a joke.

Thanks Joe. Maybe you can send one to Maywood who if they set out now might be able to drive to Quebec in time for the final 8.

"Earlier this week, we offered NASCAR Drivers' official team jackets at a huge savings - and the response was fantastic," said Joe Newman, ABA CEO.

Define 'fantastic,' Joe...

A look at all items for bid by owner abalive:

reveals this little nugget on every single item:
Current Bid N/A # of Bids 0

Joe - it must wonderful to live in your own little world, where reality is only what your mind can imagine, and all your dreams can come true...

the crazy thing is....... Joe is a rich man. Joe had success at business before this ABA came along. He is a well to do man.

Why/how he is fixated on these hare-brained schemes to get a couple of extra bucks is beyond me.

Joe - move to Sarasota, golf, enjoy your grandkids, re-connect with Brad but just enjoy your time left. Buy a dog, take him for a walk, go to the beach with Connie. Get a hobby. But working yourself into the ground with this insane league is getting you nowhere.

Joe needs Dr. Kevorkian. I will pay that bill

I stand by that assertation.......

Joe Newman is a rich man. He doesn't "need" this business. He could very happily live the rest of his life without working another day.

Now as to what a definition of the word "rich" is ............well thats up to everyones opinion. I'd be willing to say Joes' net worth is well in excess of 2 million and could easily retire in the style in which he is accustomed to tomorrow.

See this is what always stuns me about Joe. He doesn't need this hassle. He didn't pay Brad Hester, in my opinion, not because he is broke, but because he is greedy, tight fisted old duffer.

Read his background, the guy ran a number of business' and was CEO of others, I know he has a large family but he's sponging off them (Reno) as much as the other way round in my opinion.

If Joe was smart, he'd turn the whole thing over to Dick Tinkham. At least he knows the history of the old ABA and how to put a proper league together.

Read "Loose Balls" if you're unfamiliar with him.

If you had money, would you take a chance and use public money in a stock company for personal bills, knowing that it is illegal?

IMO, He doesnt have a dime to his name, the Mrs. may have a few in her name.

No one goes through these lengths to obtain funds at age 70 unless you have to.

Really, it's hard to know how much money a person has unless you see the whole picture, debts and assets including income streams. Don't let possessions persuade you of someone's wealth. A whole lot can be borrowed.

People who are insanely rich never seem to believe they have enough money... or sometimes believe that some youngin' off in the distance doesn't deserve the money "they" have. It's competitiveness. Dog-eat-dog stuff.

With a logical extension, since Joe ain't insanely rich (a better ruse would be a league run out of an office building, not your own damn basement), it's POSSIBLE that he does have a stash locked away somewhere, and... hmmmmmm, you know, guy in Indiana stealing from minorities, like that's never happened before? KKK? (Please pardon my speculation) Well, he could simply be too greedy for his own good.
