I'm half filipino. Basketball is HUGE in the Philippines, which is surprising considering how short the average person is. It would be interesting to see the best Filipino team play the rimrockers. Rimrockers might win. I have no idea.
I'm really not sure which league in PH is better....the philippine basketball league or that other one.

I'm half filipino. Basketball is HUGE in the Philippines, which is surprising considering how short the average person is. When I went to the Astrodome in Manila and saw - I believe the Hot Dogs play the Beermen I saw that most of the players had a tenuous claim to Philippino heritage at best. I don't know if they make enough money or if they are there for other jobs or what, but there were a lot of Westerners.
It would be interesting to see the best Filipino team play the rimrockers. Rimrockers might win. I have no idea. I haven't seen an ABA game yet, but it seemed to me that the quality of play in the PBA was as good as a Division II team in the NCAA or maybe even a little better.
I'm really not sure which league in PH is better....the philippine basketball league or that other one. I only saw the one game, but I'll be back. It just seems to me that there could be a whole Asian division and maybe each team would be required to make one overseas trip a season and/or for playoff games.
