......they were not going to be invited back to the ABA next season because Halifax never came through with the airline travel arrangements for the ABA teams.

Sounds like the ABA spin doctor is in. "You can't quit, I was going to fire you!"
Is there any evidence of this e-mail? Considering Joe amended Andre's quote about Halifax's final 2 games this season - removing the negative reference to the ABA and adding Joe's own simple-minded explanation of the Bahama No-Show, I am not surprised to read what you wrote in your post, but I would like to see the text of the e-mail for my own laughs and righteous indignation.

If true..............who paid for Atlanta to go to Halifax on short notice?
Atlanta?
Halifax?
or
the ABA?
I assumed Halifax, but if Joe is right then Atlanta got stiffed or the ABA got stiffed.
I'm in complete agreement though with Big Daddy, I think ol' Joe is doing some damage control. Not inviting Halifax back would be impossible to believe. Also Joe just admitted that he let in another team who failed to deliver to him as promissed, IF TRUE

As I understand it Atlanta was flown up here on the Rainmen.

Halifax did pick up the tab and from what I heard, the Vision were treated like royalty.
There are rumors that Halifax did not pay for travel for some teams as promised, those rumors are unfounded. This has been confirmed through multiple sources that are not affiliated with the team.

I can’t see the Rainmen not following through on their promises. Either way, it's pretty ridiculous that the Rainmen had to pay teams to come play. Some teams still didn't bring competitive squads. The Atlanta situation is different because they were not scheduled and filled in at the last second, that's okay in my books.

If there was such a problem with the Rainmen, Joe, why did you allow them to send a player to Vermont for this weekend?
Sounds like the Rainmen had the problem with Joe, only he doesn't want to admit it.
