As we speak there is a storm a brewing, on board an aircraft flying over Canada, then into Alaska, there is a QB with high hopes and yet not knowing what the future holds. He has played in 2 title games in the last 3 years. After a few phone call's and some smooth talking Bo, as we will call him is on his way to help a IFL team that is in dire need of a QB, Well they got their man. Bo Bartik has put up some impressive number's from his 3 years playing indoor football and will be a great asset to his new team, the Grizzlies. From talking with him just before he boarded his flight the only thing that seemed to bother him was the lack of daylight there in Alaska. I told him to find a fishing pole and or a gun to occupy his time up there and enjoy the hunting. If it doesn't work out playing football, he's only a few hours away from seeing him on tv on the world's deadlest catch, working a crab boat . By the way, it seems a league official was on that same flight heading to see how the team was doing. I have all the faith in the world on know how this story will end.

He's a good QB. He had an arm injury while with the Beef recently, so hopefully he's recovered from that. I wish him luck up there.

Can the Griz protect him? Even the best look pretty bad when they're lying on their backs the whole game.

He hopes they can, hell they didnt do a good job of protecting him last yr down in Daytona but he still put up good or above average numbers for being on such a bad team. What kind of # would he do if he was with Columbus or Kissimmee? Anyway I hope he can help them out cause if not it is going to be long season. One other change is going to happen but I cant say what that is but it is BIG, up at the higher ranking's. It will out in a few if not tonight. Probably after this weekend's game. Bo is going to play this weekend on such short notice. Good luck.

Sounds like some drastically necessary changes are in store for the Grizz. "Championship teams" are coming to play the Grizzlies but it sounds like the Grizz still need a Bartlik at about 14 or 15 more positions to be in title contention.

You hint maybe a coaching change will occur - that would certainly help from an experience standpoint. Will the "indoor expert" be heading north?

Injuried qb leaving the Omaha Beef to lead the Grizz? Is he hurt or injured? Did he leave the Beef because he didn't want to compete for the job? He is going to stay when things aren't going right? I guess we will find out. Teams improve the most from the first to second games - let's see what the Grizz do in week 2. Oh yeah - before too long Bartlik will have all the sunshine he wants ha ha.

has the "indoor expert" even coached for a few years? He'd probably take a few players with him...

I don't think the Grizz have the payroll for either. He's has won a ton of games with his guys.

He can probably get them turned around, but I doubt he can get them a title. He's good, but he's not Bill Parcels.

Bo has battled problems with his shoulder going back to his college days. He had surgery between his two season here in Rome, and again after his 2nd season here before moving to Daytona. Hopefully that isn't a major issue for him.

As another poster stated, if they can protect him, he will put up big numbers.....If they can protect him.

He threw 8 TD's in two different games last season with a less than stellar supporting cast in Daytona Beach, and played in championship games in each of the two years before that, so the tallent is there, just a matter of keeping him in one piece.

I agree. I think the Omaha Beef made a mistake in letting him go.
