Has anybody heard any new "news" on this thing, or is this another dead venture??

Haven't heard anything but it was supposed to happen in canada and now that's not going to happen. Talks are that they are going to move it back to the US.

I don't really see what's the big deal about it. It can be staged like the old toughman contests a few years back. More or less a prize fight on ice. Why not?

I'm sure that there are a lot of states in the US that would let it happen. I know that they still do toughman fights in some states.

I think it would be great to see some hockey fights.
